FBC interim pastor writes new book

Dan Crawford, interim pastor at First Baptist Church, recently published a new book, "Mud Hen in a Peacock Parade: A funny thing happened on the way to heaven."
The title itself is a funny story told in the introduction to the book.
The book, published by Hannibal Books, is available through Amazon.com or many bookstores.
The book isn't a linear story; it's a collection of funny things that happened to Crawford through his life. There are a few stories from other people toward the end of the book.
"Ever since I was a teen, funny things happened around me or because of me," he said.
He said he's been writing down the funny stories from his life for about 15 years. He started assembling them for the book about two years ago when he stopped teaching at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
"It was easy and fun to write," he said.
