In a thorough review of Peter Lumpkins' Alcohol Today: Abstinence in an Age of Indulgence, SBC Impact blogger Chris Johnson says Lumpkins "really did go beyond my expectations." In the blog post, which can be seen at SBC Impact, Johnson moves through the book and explains what he gets out of each section. In one part of the post, Johnson explains that Lumpkins' discussion of the wedding in Cana at which Jesus turns the water into wine, is "the most attractive section of the entire book in my opinion".
